ROIMATA TEMPLETON

Roimata is from New Zealand. She trained and won prizes and scholarships at the University of Otago New Zealand, Trinity College of Music in London and the Royal Academy of Music in London. She was Maria in WEST SIDE STORY at Buckingham Palace (RSC), Lucia in THE RAPE OF LUCRETIA (The Other Theatre Company, BAC), Galatea in ACIS & GALATEA (Threshold Theatre Company, BAC) and the Narrator in JOSEPH AND HIS AMAZING TECHNICOLOUR DREAMCOAT at the Royal Festival Hall. Roimata tap danced solo at the Barbican, sang DIES NATALIS in Gloucester Cathedral, and was soloist at Regent’s Hall, St James Piccadilly, St Martin’s-in-the-Fields, The Imagination Gallery and for the BBC. With Vox Animae’s production of ORDO VIRTUTUM she recorded and toured the UK and Europe.  She has played all the female leads in CATS throughout Germany most notably Grizabella in Stuttgart, Berlin, Cologne and Frankfurt. She was also Rumpleteazer and the CATS poster girl in Berlin, Moscow and Madrid. Other credits include LES MISERABLES, 42ND STREET, and LUDWIG2 (Festspielhaus Neuschwanstein) where she was Assistant Director, Associate Choreographer, principal cover, swing. She also played Mrs Potts, the opera-diva Wardrobe, was a Swing and Dance Captain in DISNEY’S BEAUTY & THE BEAST (Berlin, Oberhausen, Stuttgart). Roimata is delighted to be Directing The Sopranos for Icon Theatrical.

LISA BRIDGE

Lisa is a graduate of Arts Educational Schools (Tring) and Guildford School of Acting where she gained a BA Honours in Musical Theatre.  Theatre credits include: Featured Soloist in Thursford Christmas Spectacular; Peggy Entwistle in Sweet FA ( New Theatre Royal, Portsmouth); Eliza in King and I ( Aberystywth Arts Centre) Ensemble in Aladdin (Broadway Theatre, Peterborough); U/S and played Princess in Jack and the Beanstalk (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre); Lucy in The Thing About Men (Edinburgh Fringe) and Zebra in Just So (Edinburgh Fringe).  Screen and print credits include: Chef in Gordon Ramsay’s “Cookalong” commercial (Channel 4); Model for “Photopro Magazine” (Strictly Dancing); Featured dancer for a Microsoft Training DVD (Flaming Pear).  Workshops include: Sarah in Trouble (Saving Grace Productions). Lisa Is proud to be part of The Sopranos so she can entertain Audiences young and old around the world.

RHIANYDD BEAUMONT

Rhianydd Beaumont is from a very musical family; both her parents are singers. After learning the piano from the age of 3 ½ she followed by learning to sing and never looked back. At 21 she joined the touring cast of Cameron Mackintosh’s ‘Phantom of the Opera’. After a long run touring Britain she had the opportunity to live in Berlin and perform in Disney’s ‘Der Glockner Von Notre Dame’ (The Hunchback of Notre Dame) where she performed as a swing. She then joined the cast of Disney’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ for their UK tour and covered the role of ‘Belle’ to extensive audiences. Rhianydd has also performed in concert venues across Yorkshire. When she is not performing Rhianydd teaches primary school and private singing pupils. Rhianydd is loving the opportunity the Sopranos has given her especially being able to take a little bit of Opera back up North!

ELIZABETH ATKINSON

Elizabeth was born in South Yorkshire where she began singing and dancing at the age of three. She gained a Bmus (Hons) from Huddersfield University before being offered a place at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, Where she was awarded a merit for her Masters in Classical Vocal Studies. Since graduating Elizabeth has worked for companies including European Chamber Opera, The English Opera Singers, Opera Femina and has appeared several times as a soloist at  the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. More recently she has spent seven months as a lead singer on the Queen Mary 2 showing her versatility performing Opera, Musical Theatre and pop. Following this she moved to Portugal to become the leading lady in the new fusion show ‘Rock at the Opera’. Elizabeth is delighted to be performing with The Soprano’s in their European debut tour.

REBECCA MOORE

Rebecca has recently graduated from The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School (B.O.V.T.S.) and is happy to be making her EU debut with The Sopranos. Originally from the USA New Jersey, this also Portuguese citizen, is currently living and acting in the UK and has recently been in Twelfth Night (Olivia) on tour with Dumbstruck Productions. Other past work includes: Vanity Fair: Rebecca Sharp, Theatre Royal (Bristol), The Importance of Being Ernest: Gwendolyn, B.O.V.T.S, August of Osage County: Karen, B.O.V.T.S., A Midsummer Night’s Dream: Helena, B.O.V.T.S., West Side Story: Anita, Epsom Playhouse. Rebecca is so excited to be traveling the world with ‘The Sopranos’ and looks forward to visiting far off places!

HELEN POWER

Helen trained in musical theatre at Mountview Academy after completing a Performing Arts degree at Middlesex University. Helen was also a member of the National Youth Music Theatre, playing lead roles in Whistle Down the Wind (Sadler’s Wells; West Yorkshire Playhouse; Riverside Studios) and the Raven in Pendragon (Broadway, New York). However, her professional début took her back to her homeland, the Isle of Man, playing the role of Carmen in FAME at the Gaiety Theatre.  Helen’s theatre credits include Joanna in Sunset Boulevard (West End and Watermill Theatre), Miranda in The Blonde Bombshells of 1943 (national tour), The Nurse in Oh! What A Lovely War (Bolton Octagon), Jane in Salad Days (Greenwich Theatre, Devonshire Park Theatre), Pitti-Sing in Hot Mikado (Watermill Theatre), the title role in Peter Pan (Billingham Forum), The Evil Enchantress in Beauty and the Beast (Darwen Library Theatre), Gloria in Brassed Off (Oldham Coliseum), Jane in Salad Days (50th anniversary tour), Dorothy in Wizard of Oz (tour), title role in Cinderella (Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond), Bridie in an extract from Masquerade (International Playwriting Festival, Croydon Warehouse Theatre) and she created the role of Miss Davis in the Glenn Miller musical American Patrol (Mayflower Theatre).  Helen also appeared in the BBC drama Capturing Mary.  Helen’s concert work includes Helen Power in Concert… A Musical Journey (Erin Arts Centre), Snappy Title (Pigalle Club), Readiness Is All (Cochrane Theatre), and the Singalong season at the Theatre Museum, Covent Garden.  As a soloist for the highly acclaimed Incognito Artists, she has performed all over the world and, in the UK, recorded and performed with the Paul Bullen Band.

Helen is pleased to be involved with ‘The Sopranos’ displaying her versatility as a singer.

KATIE MURRAY

Katie was born in the North East of Scotland and starting performing from a young age.  She trained at the London Studio Centre and graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Musical Theatre.  Theatre Credits include: Jenny in Pirate Jenny (UK Tour), Madeline in Nine (London), Featured Soloist in A Tribute To Tom Lehrer (London), Milly in Humpty Dumpty Panto (UK Tour) and Hax in Moby Dick The Musical (London).  TV and FILM Credits:  Featured Actor in Samsung Viral (Viral Company London), Featured Dancer in Tamil M17 (London Baba Films) and Featured Dancer in Boom (Ministry of Sound). Katie is also lead vocalist of the up and coming group Andellini Sisters. Katie is looking forward to touring the UK especially a visit to her home in Scotland.

KATHRYN PEMBERTON

Kathryn is 23 is originally from Ripponden in West Yorkshire.  She trained at the London School of Musical Theatre.  Since graduating she has had various performing roles.  Her first role was in a Musical at the Edinburgh Festival she was also the lead singer on the Queen Mary II and at the Casino Villamoura in Portugal.  She is a regular singer on the club circuit in West Yorkshire and is an accomplished cabaret singer in London.  Kathryn is very excited about appearing with The Sopranos especially in her home county West Yorkshire.
